Investigators say forensic data includes thousands of images, contacts, and call logs linked to alleged drug network.

KARACHI: The National Counter Corruption and Intelligence Agency (NCCIA) has recovered more than 100GB of data from the mobile phone of alleged high-profile drug dealer Anmol alias “Pinky,” who is currently under arrest on drug trafficking charges, sources said on Tuesday.

A detailed forensic report of the suspect’s device has been submitted to the investigating officer, with officials stating that the recovered material could play a crucial role in the ongoing investigation.

Investigators reportedly retrieved a vast amount of data from the device, including more than 75,000 photographs and images.

The material also contains screenshots of bank transfer receipts and records of online transactions, which investigators believe point towards a structured financial network linked to the alleged drug operation.

Authorities further recovered around 13,000 contacts and 42,000 call logs, indicating extensive communication activity.

Sources revealed that the suspect was operating two separate WhatsApp accounts on the same mobile device. Investigators suspect this was intended to manage different communication networks discreetly.

Anmol alias “Pinky” was arrested on May 12 during a joint raid conducted by law enforcement agencies at her residence in Karachi’s Garden area. Officials claim drugs, weapons, and narcotics worth approximately Rs1.5 million were recovered during the operation.

However, the suspect has denied the allegations, claiming she was previously detained in Lahore before being transferred to Karachi.

A local court has already placed the suspect on judicial remand in multiple cases as investigations continue into allegations of drug trafficking and other serious offences.

Authorities say multiple cases have been registered against her, while financial and digital evidence is being further examined as part of the ongoing probe.
