WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump said on his Truth Social platform that negotiations with Iran are progressing well and expressed optimism about reaching a deal.

Trump said the potential agreement with Iran would be beneficial for all sides, adding that it could be a “great deal” if finalized.

However, he warned that if no agreement is reached, conflict could resume, saying any renewed war would be “far bigger” than before and something “nobody wants.”

The US president also issued a broader call for all Muslim-majority countries to sign what he referred to as the “Abraham Agreement,” referring to the framework of normalization deals between Israel and several Arab states.

He said participation in the agreement should be mandatory for all countries, adding that only one or two countries that refuse to sign may be treated differently.

Trump further claimed that despite ongoing tensions and conflict risks, countries involved in the agreements had experienced economic and financial benefits, describing it as an “economic boom” for participating nations.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has said that a proposed agreement with Iran has not yet been finalized, but expressed confidence that positive developments will emerge, stating he does not make “bad deals.”

In an interview with ABC News, Trump said the potential agreement with Iran would be “completely different” from the nuclear deal reached during former President Barack Obama’s administration.

He noted that the details of the agreement have not yet been made public, urging people not to rely on criticism from those who do not have complete information.

The US president added that previous leadership should have resolved the issue years earlier, saying negotiations are now moving in a structured and constructive direction, with the final outcome depending on Iran’s decisions.

Trump further stated that he seeks an agreement that protects U.S. interests and contributes to regional stability in the Middle East.
