Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said the city is expected to remain hot and humid today with high moisture levels likely to make the weather feel more intense than the recorded temperatures.

The minimum temperature of 28°C was recorded this morning, while humidity levels stood at 78 percent.

The maximum temperature is expected to range between 33°C and 35°C. Due to the elevated humidity, the heat is likely to feel stronger across the city.

A southwesterly wind is blowing at 12 kilometres per hour while skies are expected to remain clear throughout the day.

Meanwhile, a heatwave is likely to persist across interior Sindh until May 11, where temperatures are expected to range between 45°C and 47°C in several areas.
