The committee has upheld the referee’s ruling, confirming that Zaman will serve a two-match suspension.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) Technical Committee has rejected Fakhar Zaman’s appeal against his two-match suspension imposed for altering the condition of the ball during a recent match between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings.

The incident occurred when match referee Roshan Mahnama penalized Zaman under a Level Three offense.

Following the ruling, Fakhar Zaman filed an appeal with the PSL Technical Committee challenging the decision.

However, the committee has upheld the referee’s ruling, confirming that Zaman will serve a two-match suspension.

The three-member Technical Committee comprising Professor Javed Malik, Dr Mamrez Naqshbandi, and Syed Ali Naqi heard the appeal and reviewed the positions of both parties before issuing the final decision.
