    Multan Sultans beat Islamabad United by five wickets in PSL 11

    Multan Sultans defeated Islamabad United by five wickets in the fourth match of the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League.

    The match was played at Gaddafi Stadium where Multan Sultans won the toss and chose to field first. Batting first, Islamabad United scored 171 runs for the loss of eight wickets and set a target of 172 runs.

    For Islamabad United, Mark Chapman was the top scorer with 40 runs, while Samir Minhas made 28. Devon Conway and Faheem Ashraf both scored 26 runs.

    From Multan Sultans, Moon Qamar took three wickets, while Mohammad Wasim Jr. picked up two wickets. Mohammad Nawaz, Peter Siddle and Arafat Minhas took one wicket each.

    Chasing the target, Multan Sultans played aggressively and reached 172 runs in 18.4 overs for the loss of five wickets. Josh Philippe was the top scorer with 55 runs, while Steven Smith scored 31 and Arafat Minhas added 25 runs. Captain Ashton Turner remained unbeaten on 43 runs to secure the victory.

    For Islamabad United, Salman Irshad and Shadab Khan took two wickets each, while Imad Wasim claimed one wicket.
