
Sharjah – ‘The Gulf’ Expert Brigadier Naji Muhammad Hassan Al Hammadi, Director of the Evidence and Criminal Laboratories Department at the Sharjah Police General Command, revealed the development of a ‘fingerprint detection laboratory’ using modern chemical treatments. This contributes to providing forensic evidence by accurately identifying the perpetrators. This enhances security efforts in raising the rate of contribution in detecting crimes. Brigadier Al Hammadi stressed that the laboratory is a strategic step towards making the most of modern technology in combating crime, noting that the working mechanism within it depends on the latest chemical treatments, innovative scientific techniques, and precise treatment methodologies linked to a comprehensive database.
