Key internal discussions from a meeting held at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House have revealed growing concerns within Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leadership regarding strategy, protests, and party discipline.

According to sources, no one was able to attend the medical check-up of PTI founder because Aleema Khan declined the government’s offer to allow doctors and senior PTI leaders to be present. It was reportedly discussed that if other leaders continue to be restricted in this manner, it could negatively impact both PTI founder and the party.

Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs) were directed to return to their areas and mobilize more supporters. However, they were instructed to keep protest activities confined within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The meeting also noted that Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Raja Nasir deliberately limited themselves to Parliament, while the party leadership was expected to remain outside to energize and organize workers.

Iqbal Afridi was reportedly advised to control the use of inappropriate language and avoid provocative actions. In response, he restricted himself to the Parliamentary Lodges, which was interpreted as reluctance to actively participate in protests or fully implement party instructions.

Concerns were raised that loud and mocking trolls operating from outside were damaging workers’ confidence. At the same time, road blockages were creating hardships for the public, prompting calls for the party to reconsider its strategy.

It was suggested that Barrister Gohar should make independent decisions and not remain subject to any veto. Additionally, there were warnings that if PTI-linked trolls are not controlled, Sohail Afridi could soon emerge as “Ali Amin Khan Gandapur 2.0,” referring to Ali Amin Khan Gandapur.

Finally, it was recommended that the party take legal action against individuals spreading false claims about PTI founder’s health, including rumors that he has permanently lost his eyesight, as mentioned by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
