Barcelona: Rain-soaked tarmac, spinning wheels, and the deafening roar of engines Barcelona’s pre-season track put even the boldest Formula 1 talents to the test.

Among them, Red Bull’s 21-year-old prodigy Isack Hadjar faced a dramatic challenge as slippery conditions brought his lap to a sudden halt.

During the closed-door F1 pre-season testing, Hadjar lost control of his car at the final fast corner while transitioning from full wet tyres to intermediate ones.

The car spun and collided with the barrier, marking a sudden end to the young driver’s session. Red Bull has not commented officially on the incident.

Hadjar ranks among Red Bull’s youngest drivers, and this test session marked a crucial step in familiarizing himself with the team’s 2026 car.

The tests this week have been severely impacted by weather, allowing only Red Bull and Ferrari to run on Tuesday, with each team limited to three of the five scheduled testing days.

The crash comes shortly after Red Bull unveiled its 2026 Formula 1 car on January 26, featuring a new in-house engine developed in collaboration with Ford.

Despite the wet conditions, Red Bull’s lead driver Max Verstappen completed his first laps, experiencing only a minor off at Turn Five without significant damage.

Meanwhile, Ferrari’s drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton managed a combined 123 laps on the challenging track, signaling encouraging progress as teams prepare for the upcoming season.
