    Pakistan, Indonesia agree on medical cooperation

    Mustafa Kamal was welcomed in Jakarta by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Indonesia.

    Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal visited Indonesia, where both countries agreed to enhance cooperation in the field of medicine.

    According to the Health Ministry spokesperson, Mustafa Kamal was welcomed in Jakarta by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Indonesia. During the visit, the minister also met with Shadiq Akasia, President Director of the renowned vaccine manufacturer Bio Farma.

    The meeting focused on promoting collaboration between Pakistan and Indonesia in vaccine production. Health Minister Mustafa Kamal emphasized the importance of joint efforts in this sector and the need for local self-reliance in vaccine manufacturing.

    An agreement was also reached between Bio Farma and Pakistan’s National Institute of Health (NIH) on technology transfer to enhance production capacity.

    Mustafa Kamal stated that Pakistan aims to benefit from Indonesia’s experience in vaccine production and seeks close and practical cooperation to establish its own vaccine manufacturing facility.
