Authorities reported that a gray vehicle struck Underwood while traveling westbound. She suffered severe trauma to her head and body and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver fled and has not yet been apprehended.

A native of New York City, Underwood began her acting journey at the tender age of seven. She rose to prominence in 2005, joining the cast of All That during its 10th season.

She also portrayed Little Inez on the inaugural national tour of Hairspray and lent her voice to the character Fuchsia on Nick Jr.’s Little Bill.

Her untimely passing has sent shockwaves through the entertainment world, with fans and former colleagues mourning the loss of a gifted performer whose talent and charm left a lasting impression.
