Uncontrolled incursions from Afghan territory under the Taliban regime are emerging as a severe threat to international security.

Countries worldwide are increasingly forced to respond to the spread of terrorism originating from Afghanistan.

Iranian media outlet Iran International revealed that several Afghan nationals lost their lives attempting illegal border crossings into Iran.

Following these incidents, the bodies of 15 Afghan migrants were transferred to Kohsan and Adraskan districts.

Reports indicate that a total of 40 Afghan migrants have died, with many more missing, as they tried to enter Iranian territory via the Islam Qala route.

A senior Iranian border commander noted that illegal crossings have doubled compared to last year. In 2025 alone, over 1.6 million Afghan refugees and migrants have been expelled from Iran.

Authorities also uncovered instances of Afghan citizens involved in espionage activities targeting Israel during a recent 12-day border conflict.

Caspian News highlighted that Iran, responding to escalating security threats, has decided to complete a 300-kilometer border barrier this year.

Organized terrorist networks operating from Afghan soil continue to destabilize the region and beyond. Pakistan has repeatedly presented evidence to the international community showing how Afghan territory is exploited for cross-border terrorist activities.
