Competitive eater takes home a Guinness World Record title after consuming 49 grams of green cotton candy in 60 seconds.
According to adjudicator David Wilson, Leah Shutveker, the speed eater, needed to eat at least 45 grams of the green cotton candy presented to her to break the world record, as per UPI.
“Why is it green?” Shutveker had asked when the plate of the Grinch-coloured cotton candy was presented.
“It’s quite grinchy,” adjudicator David Wilson said.
Shutveker said after winning the new title that she has very sticky fingers and a “very, very sticky face”.
“But you know what? It was so worth it. It was absolutely delicious,” she added.
Shutveker is uniquely known for eating unusual foods and breaking world records.
She has set records for consuming 19 chicken nuggets and 10 jelly doughnuts in one minute and three minutes, respectively.
