Pakistan’s electric vehicle market has moved ahead with the launch of two new electric SUVs, the Jaecco J6 and Omoda E5, from Chery’s sub-brands.
Introduced under Chery International’s New Energy Vehicle lineup, these fully electric models are built to offer strong performance, modern design, and an eco-friendly drive.
The launch comes after Chery partnered with NextGen Auto, a subsidiary of the Nishat Group that is also known for assembling Hyundai vehicles in Pakistan.

Jaecco J6 – Stylish Electric SUV with Premium Features
The Jaecco J6 is a flexible electric SUV offered in three variants: RWD Comfort, RWD Luxury, and AWD Premium. It measures 4,406 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,715 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm and a ground clearance of 195 mm. Based on the variant, the vehicle is equipped with either 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels.

The J6 features Matrix Adaptive Headlights, LED DRLs, panoramic sunroof, roof rails, automatic headlamps, heated side mirrors, and an electric charging port cover. Safety elements like rear fog lamps and an emergency stop signal are also included.
Luxurious Interior
Inside, the J6 offers a 64-color ambient lighting system, ventilated and massaging front seats, multi-zone climate control, wireless charging (50W), and high-quality audio from Pioneer or Infinity speakers. The rear seats fold in a 60/40 split for added cargo flexibility.

Omoda E5 – Modern Electric SUV for Urban Driving
The Omoda E5 is another impressive electric vehicle that blends a sporty look with modern technology. It measures 4,424 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,588 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,630 mm.

Powered by a 150 kW (204 hp) motor delivering 340 Nm of torque, the E5 is front-wheel drive and uses a 61 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery. It offers up to 505 km (NEDC) range and multiple drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.

It includes six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, ABS, EBD, ESP, multi-collision brake, 360° view camera, and parking sensors for both front and rear.
