She also claimed her third Defensive Player of the Year award, her fourth MVP, and secured another Finals MVP.
Wilson made history as the first player in WNBA or NBA history to win a championship, Finals MVP, regular-season MVP, and Defensive Player of the Year all in the same season.
Reflecting on her unparalleled achievements, Wilson told Time Magazine, “When you’ve collected everything, that’s Thanos. And this year, I collected everything. I don’t really talk much my game speaks for itself.”
