Talha Anjum has retained his crown as Pakistan’s most-streamed artist on Spotify, topping the charts for the second year in a row as revealed by Spotify Wrapped 2025.

The announcement was made during Spotify’s annual Wrapped showcase, where Talha Anjum topped the charts with a staggering 370 million streams, underscoring his unmatched popularity and consistent influence in Pakistan’s evolving hip-hop scene.

Soon after the achievement, the rapper marked the milestone on Instagram, sharing a photo accompanied by a confident caption:
“Most-streamed artist, two years in a row.”

Reflecting on his journey, Talha Anjum credited years of relentless hard work and unwavering fan support. He highlighted that maintaining the number-one spot for 96 consecutive weeks was no coincidence, but the result of dedication, discipline, and belief in his craft.

He expressed gratitude to his team and listeners who have stood by him through every phase of his career.

The rapper also subtly addressed recent controversies and criticism, including backlash surrounding an incident at a concert. Without naming individuals, Talha spoke candidly about what he described as repeated attempts by certain media outlets and industry players to undermine his success through misinformation, legal pressure, and negative narratives.

Despite such challenges, Talha made it clear that the opposition failed to slow his momentum. Emphasizing resilience, he stated that Urdu rap continues to reign at the top, just as it did last year.

“God has been kind to me. Anyone wishing against me must work harder and pray harder,” he wrote, ending his message with confidence and a promise to return stronger.

Musically, Talha Anjum enjoyed a standout year with his album My Terrible Mind, which amassed nearly 84 million streams on Spotify.

Meanwhile, his chart-topping track “Departure Lane” alone generated 46 million streams, reaching approximately 7.5 million listeners, further solidifying his status as one of Pakistan’s most influential hip-hop artists.
