Popular Pakistani YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, has been released from Camp Jail following the completion of legal formalities in a case linked to the alleged promotion of online gambling applications.

According to official sources, Ducky Bhai was taken out through the prison’s back gate and left the jail in a vehicle after the court issued his formal release warrant earlier in the day.

The release order was passed by Judicial Magistrate Naeem Bhutto, who instructed jail authorities to free him immediately provided he was not wanted in any other case.

A written order was also sent to the Superintendent of Camp Jail to ensure prompt implementation.

Earlier, the Lahore High Court had granted bail to the YouTuber in a case related to the advertisement and promotion of betting and gambling applications. The bail was approved against surety bonds worth Rs 1 million.

During the hearing, Justice Shehram Sarwar observed that, according to precedents set by the Supreme Court, denial of bail in cases of this nature is considered an exception rather than the rule.

It may be recalled that a case was registered against Ducky Bhai by the NCCIA on charges of allegedly promoting illegal online gambling platforms through digital content.

The matter had sparked significant debate on social media, drawing attention to the growing scrutiny of influencers and content creators over online advertising practices.

Following his release, supporters gathered outside the jail, while the legal proceedings in the case are expected to continue in the coming days.
