Since their debut, CORTIS has been at the forefront of fan discussions, earning praise for their dynamic visuals and musical style, while also navigating a wave of constructive critique.

Their debut track, “What You Want,” was released on August 18, followed by its official music video the very next day.

The song made an impressive impact on streaming platforms, particularly Spotify, registering 133,647 streams on its first day, and surging to 324,884 streams on the second day an increase of 189,237 streams, highlighting the group’s growing global fanbase.

CORTIS revealed their official fan club name, COER, through the Weverse platform.

According to BIGHIT Music, a contest held in September received over 19,000 submissions for potential fan club names. After careful deliberation and consultation with the band members, COER was selected.

    The statement explained:

    • COER blends “COR” (from CORTIS) and “~ER” (denoting unity), while resonating with the word “CORE”, symbolizing fans who support the group with unwavering dedication and passion.
    • The name signifies that fans are the core driving force behind CORTIS, joining the band to “color outside the lines” and push creative boundaries together.

BIGHIT Music expressed gratitude to fans for their steadfast support during the first 100 days and encouraged them to continue creating memorable moments alongside CORTIS as COER for years to come.
