The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted predominantly dry weather across most parts of the country today. Northern and hilly regions are expected to experience cold conditions, while residents in Punjab’s plains should prepare for smog and light fog during the early morning and night hours.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, temperatures are likely to drop sharply at night, and Kashmir will face severe cold in the mornings and evenings.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s hilly districts are also expected to remain extremely cold, while the plains will continue to see dry conditions.

Punjab’s major districts are forecasted to remain dry, with hill stations like Murree and the Galyat region experiencing colder weather.

Sindh and Balochistan are expected to remain largely dry as well, although northern districts of Balochistan will witness significant temperature drops during mornings and nights.

The PMD has advised citizens to take necessary precautions against low temperatures, fog, and smog, particularly in areas prone to early morning and night-time cold spells.
