
Dubai: «Al Khaleej» Dubai Electricity and Water Authority provides a wide network of green charger stations for electric vehicles, including about 740 charging points throughout Dubai, which supports the steady growth witnessed by the emirate in the adoption of electric vehicles, the number of which reached more than 34,970 vehicles in October 2024. Customers can easily locate charging stations through the Authority’s website and smart application, in addition to 14 other digital platforms. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, said: “We are working in accordance with the vision of the wise leadership to transform Dubai into the smartest and happiest city in the world by adopting revolutionary disruptive technologies.”
