
The Dubai Commercial Court has obligated one of the companies that owns a real estate development project to pay one million and 954 thousand dirhams, in addition to the legal benefits of 5% annually until the payment of payment, for the benefit of a contracting company from the subcontractor, after the company evaded the payment of the dues, after the bankruptcy company’s main contracting company. Details of the case are due to the fact that the royal company concluded a major contract to implement a large real estate development project with a major contractor, which in turn assigned part of the business to a subcontractor contracting company, according to a contract dated in mid -2016, with a total value of 19 million and 123 thousand dirhams, with an agreement to detention of the contractor 10% as a guarantee of business that deserves after two years of completion
