“Express safely” enhance traffic safety in Sharjah

Sharjah Police General Command launched an awareness campaign under the slogan “Express safely”, with the aim of enhancing the commitment of drivers and pedestrians to traffic laws and achieving a safer traffic environment for all road users. The campaign focuses on two main aspects, namely educating drivers on the importance of complete stopping at pedestrian corridors and adhering to traffic instructions and their instructions. Colonel Omar Boughanim, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department, affirmed that this campaign comes within a series of awareness initiatives implemented by the Sharjah Police annually, within the framework of its strategy to raise the level of traffic safety and reduce accidents and injuries and promote traffic awareness and that the launch of the campaign is based on indicators analysis
