Brad Pitt reportedly has a strained relationship with kids, especially his son Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt and Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt.
According to reports, the actor’s relationship with his kids became strained after he allegedly physically assaulted his now ex-wife Angelina Jolie on a private jet while returning from France to Los Angeles in 2016.
Later, Jolie accused the F1 – The Movie star of physically shaking her, hitting the ceiling, and verbally abusing their six children.
In 2023, a report by Daily Mail claimed that Pax called Pitt “a world class a**hole” in a heated rant on Father’s Day in 2020.
“You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person,” he penned, expressing his frustration over his father along with his photo accepting an Oscar for best supporting actor for Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood.
He added, “You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence,” he added in the post which was later leaked in media.
“You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you’re incapable of doing so,” Pax claimed.
“You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want,’ he added., ‘but the truth will come to light someday.
“So Happy Father’s Day, you **** awful human being.”
More recently, a report by the publication claimed that Pitt does not see their relationship fixable.
An insider said the father-son relationship is “beyond repair,” particularly with Pax, who has previously expressed anger toward his father.
“Brad honestly considers his relationship with Pax unfixable,” an insider told the publication. “He is seemingly ready to cut ties with one more child while holding out hope for the remaining children.”
Another report by Star Magazine claimed that Pitt was worried for Pax after he was seen leaving the Chateau Marmont looking unsteady.
They revealed that Pitt blames Jolie for “losing control” of their kids. “For Brad, he believes Angelina should be doing more to keep Pax in check – particularly since he blames her for the lack of a father figure in their son’s life,” they added.
“Even though Pax is 21, Brad finds it outrageous that he keeps ending up in these kinds of situations. Getting so drunk he could barely stand was dangerous, and anything could’ve gone wrong.”
