Kate Beckinsale is paying tribute to her late dad Richard Beckinsale on Father’s Day
The 51-year-old actress took to her Instagram account on Wednesday, June 4, to debut a new tattoo in honor of her late father.
In the candid post, she posted a video of herself getting an ink as an homage to her father Richard.
In the black-and-white clip, Kate can be seen exposing her bare arm as she gets the tattoo.
A close-up shot in the video revealed the tattoo that reads “Fatherless scum,” which is a reference to David Bowie’s song Fantastic Voyage.
Kate also set the post to the same track.
“Gearing up for Father’s Day with @endrystymest and @davidbowie,” Kate penned down in the caption while tagging the profile of the Los Angeles-based tattoo artist.
For those unversed, Kate was only five years old when Richard died due to a sudden heart attack in 1979.
