Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin have reportedly parted ways once again
As per a recent report by People, multiple sources revealed that the Fifty Shades of Grey actress and the Coldplay singer have ended their almost eight-year, on-off relationship.
One tipster told the outlet of the split that this time “it feels final.”
For those unversed, Dokota and Chris were first speculated as romantically linked in 2017 when the duo was spotted hand-in-hand in India during Martin’s tour with Coldplay and they were again were photographed together in Malibu in May of the same year.
Back in March 2024, multiple outlets reported that Dakota and Chris had actually been engaged for “years”, but, they were not in a rush to tie the knot.
The couple’s first break-up rumors were sparked back in August 2024, however, the Materialists actress spokeperson slammed the speculations noting that Chris and Dakota were “happily together.”
“Sure, they’ve had issues and taken breaks in the past, but things are great now. They both love their careers. They are balancing things the best they can,” an insider said at the time.
