1.5 million kilograms of recycled waste last year

The Emirates Environment Group celebrated yesterday the twenty -eighth session of the Emirates Recycling Prize, in conjunction with the International Environment Day and under the slogan “Eliminating Plastic Pollution”. The celebration was held at the Dubai Knowledge Complex, under the patronage and presence of Eng. Sheikh Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Civil Aviation Authority and member of the Executive Council of the Ras Al Khaimah Government, and with the participation of representatives of academic institutions, government agencies and private and community sectors.
