Cher is helping her estranged son Elijah Blue Allman to move on from his messy divorce.
Previously, Elijah filed for divorce from his wife Marieangela King, also known as Queenie, in 2021. However, they reconciled later but it didn’t last and the singer filed for divorce in April 2025 against Elijah.
Now, an insider told In Touch that Cher, who never approved of her son’s marriage to Queenie in 2013, is thrilled about the split.
The tipster said that Cher is doing whatever it takes to help Elijah move on from this divorce. “She’s spending a lot of time with him, she’s gone into full mother hen mode. They’re getting massages and other spa treatments together to fully relax.”
“She has her energy healer working on him, too. He’s staying with her and getting fully pampered,” the source stated.
Notably, Cher is using the opportunity to bond with her only son with late ex-husband Gregg Allman.
“She is over the moon to have this chance to bond with him and be his mom again. She is very maternal and shines in a crisis,” insider said.
“Elijah actually seems to be on really good behavior. He’s sad his marriage is ending, but he seems to agree with his mom — that this is for the best. Now he just wants it to be over as quickly as possible,” the insider added.
For those unaware, Cher was furious when Elijah changed his mind about divorce initially. She also reportedly filed for ex parte motion for her son to be placed in emergency conservatorship due to his alleged mental health issues and substance abuse.
