Kate Middleton has shown support for her long-time friend Victoria Beckham.
As Victoria and David Beckham are facing tensions with their eldest son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz, the Princess of Wales is offering her empathy for the Hollywood couple.
Brooklyn and Nicoola have reportedly cut contact from David and Victoria. They also skipped the InterMiami owner’s lavish 50th birthday party. Notably, they have received support from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Now, an insider told Closer Magazine that “Kate feels sympathy for Victoria.”
They added that the wife of Prince William understands “how hurtful it must be to have this estrangement with Brooklyn as well as the difficulties with Nicola.”
It is worth mentioning that Kate Middleton was also spotted wearing a suit designed by Victoria recently. As per insider, “wearing the VB suit was a subtle show of support, and suffice to say that meant a lot to Victoria and helped boost her spirits.”
The source also noted that given Kate Middleton and Prince William’s feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Princess of Wales can now empathise more with the former Spice Girls since her son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola are now building friendship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“Kate can empathise with the difficulties the Beckhams are dealing with, presumably more so now their own son has teamed up with the Sussexes,” the source stated.
While Beckhams have a long history with the royals even attending weddings of Kate and William and then of Harry and Meghan, Victoria and David’s rift with the Sussexes began when they alleged the fashion designer of leaking information to the press. Since then, the Beckhams became part of team Wales.
Meanwhile, the feud between the Sussexes and Wales began after Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal roles in 2020 and made shocking allegations against William and Kate.
Now, Kate Middleton shows support for Victoria Beckham, and Meghan Markle and Nicola Peltz bond over their shared experience of being portrayed badly amid their respective husbands’ family fallout.
The source also noted that Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Pelltz still have “no contact” with David Beckham and Victoria.
“As parents, David and Victoria are concerned for their son and they have tried to get in touch, but he has no plans to speak to them,” the tipster added.
On the other hand, people close to Brooklyn have revealed that the young star does only what his wife Nicola wants, adding that she is “upset and adamant that she’s done nothing to deserve it. She’s bewildered that she’s in a position of having to defend herself, let alone be banished into exile along with Brooklyn.”
The source states that there is “no doubt” that Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have a lot in common with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
