“Sharjah Sports” receives the delegation of the International Federation for University Sports

On the occasion of Sharjah’s hosting of the University World Championship for Physical Force in August 2026, Issa Hilal Al -Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, received the delegation of the International University Sports Federation, which included: Raymond Matthias, Secretary -General of the Federation, Ali Masri Al Dhaheri, member of the Executive Office, and Imad Bonush, the regional representative of the Federation in the Middle East, in the presence of Eid Kanaan, Dean of Affairs Students at the University of Sharjah, Ibrahim Saif, Head of the Sports Professional Department at the Department of Sports and Development Affairs in the Council, where ways of cooperation between the two sides were discussed, and the emirate’s bombing arrangements for the global championship that will be sponsored by the Council.
