New Zealand opted to bat first against South Africa in the second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 being played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday.

New Zealand were 349/5 against South Africa at the end of the 49th over.

New Zealand are eyeing big total after Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson raised centuries.

Lungi Ngidi provided the first breakthrough by dismissing Will Young for 21 (23) for the Proteas.

Gaddafi Stadium is hosting the big showdown, which will decide the second finalist for the mega tournament.

It may be noted that India, after beating Australia, have qualified for the final clash, slated to be staged at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday (March 9).

This is a developing story and is being updated with more details.
