Robert Pattinson became Phoebe Bridgers’ first co-star as she made her acting debut in Primetime, and shared how he felt it would be impossible to get her for the movie.
The 40-year-old attended a press conference with the cast and revealed that he was unaware of the longtime friendship between director Lance Oppenheim and the Boygenius musician.
“I didn’t even know Lance and Phoebe were friends before this happened and he was like, why don’t we get Phoebe Bridgers for this? And I was like oh why don’t we get the QUEEN,” joked the Twilight star, adding that it wasn’t particularly difficult to get her onboard.
The Moon Song hitmaker for her part, shared that she was nervous for her first project, but Pattinson insisted that she was “just amazing” in the movie despite it being a difficult one to start your acting career with.
The interaction became the internet’s favourite clip and fans flocked to the comments, writing, “THIS DUO OMG,” and “this is very special to me.”
A third chimed in, “my two favs,” while one wrote, “worlds colliding OMG.”
