A crazy fan moment unfolded during BTS’ ARIRANG World Tour in Chicago after an attendee reportedly attempted to breach the stage barrier.
The incident occurred on Friday, August 28 during the second of BTS’ two sold-out shows at Soldier Field.
As the members were delivering a high-energy performance of Fire beneath spectacular stage visuals and pyrotechnics as thousands of fans filled Soldier Field with their purple light sticks, a concert goer was captured jumping over a security barricade, making his way toward the stage.
Fan footage circulating online appears to show security personnel reacting almost immediately. Staff moved toward the individual, pulled them back from the barrier and escorted them away from the performance area.
According to the fan account @btschartsxdaily, which shared footage of the moment, the person was arrested following the incident.
Rather than focusing on the disruption, many fans quickly turned their attention to the people who prevented the situation from escalating.
“Thank you security for keeping our boys safe,” one fan wrote, while another praised Soldier Field staff for being “observant and handling the situation efficiently and professionally.”
Others expressed concern for the septet as RM, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, K Hope, Suga and V continue their massive 2026 world tour.
“God please protect BTS from those people,” one fan wrote.
