Field marshal meets multinational Harvard Business School delegation to discuss regional security, global challenges and Pakistan’s development potential.
ISLAMABAD: From regional security to the challenges of an increasingly uncertain world, Pakistan’s future took center stage as Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with a multinational delegation of Harvard Business School students during their visit to the country, the Inter-Services Public Relations said.
The delegation, comprising students from several countries, discussed regional and global developments and Pakistan’s security environment with Munir, who outlined the country’s efforts to promote peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
Munir emphasized the importance of education, personal development and entrepreneurial skills in preparing young people for a rapidly changing world. He urged the students to develop fact-based analytical skills and carefully assess information before forming opinions.
ISPR said Munir also stressed the importance of critical thinking amid the growing influence of social media and propaganda, saying young people have a meaningful role to play in navigating uncertainty and contributing to their societies.
The students described their visit to Pakistan as a memorable experience, praising the hospitality and warmth of the Pakistani people. They also recognized the country’s potential and the wide range of opportunities it offers.
The interaction provided the international delegation with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Pakistan’s regional outlook, security environment and development prospects.
