Vernon Kay reportedly bought a place near his family home so that he can remain close to his daughters amid his split from Tess Daly.
The former couple shocked fans after announcing the end of their marriage after 23 years together in a joint statement, saying the decision was made with mutual understanding.
However, they also said that they would continue to support their daughters, Phoebe and Amber, together as parents.
Vernon is currently still living with his ex-wife but is keen to stay close to Tess and their two daughters.
A source told the Sun: ‘Vernon has now bought a place close to the family home in Buckinghamshire.
‘It means he can stay close to their girls, which is something important to both him and Tess. He’s having renovations done and will move out when the house is ready. Tess is supporting him with the move.
‘It’s going to be very strange for them after living together for over two decades, so they’re both treating the situation with care and respect.’
The former couple, who married in September 2003, share two daughters. They said there were no other parties involved in their decision to separate.
