Emmerdale star Katie Hill ended up in A&E after stepping on a nail during her house renovation.
The 23-year-old actress, who plays Sarah Dingle in the ITV soap, was working on her house renovation when she stepped on a nail.
She had to go to A&E, forcing her to cancel nail appointment she planned.
Katie later shared the situation with her Instagram followers while asking if any nail technicians in Leeds could help her with an appointment.
She posted a picture of her grown out fake nails and joked about the timing of the accident.
Her message ended with a light hearted comment about her renovation, despite the reason for her visit.
Luckily, Katie then told her followers that she found a nail technician and thanked everyone who contacted her.
The actress had a busy year both on and off screen. Earlier this year, she shared the news that her dog Millie had died at the age of 16.
Katie has also been at the centre of Emmerdale storylines as her character Sarah recently became involved in a shocking family drama.
For now, Katie appears to be recovering while continuing her renovation project.
