Ariana Grande may not be joining American Horror Story Season 13 after all, but Ryan Murphy says fans should not lose hope.
The producer has made it clear that he still wants to work with the singer when the time is right.
In a recent interview, Murphy shared that Ariana was supposed to be part of the new season but her busy schedule got in the way.
The singer, however, is currently focused on her Eternal Sunshine tour and her new music, making it impossible for her to fit the show.
The director added that there were no hard feelings over the decision, explaining that both of them agreed to leave the idea for another time instead of forcing it to happen now.
He also made it clear that he got no plans to give up on working with Ariana. Murphy praised the singer and said he hopes they can make it happen in a future season when her schedule is free.
Ariana has worked with Murphy as well before in Scream Queens, where she played Chanel Number 2.
He said she has always loved horror stories, which is one reason he wants her back.
While Ariana will miss Season 13, American Horror Story is far from over as Murphy confirmed that Season 14 is on the way.
