KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA The starting points of motorways will be shut down.

According to a Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh spokesperson, motorways, Mall Road, and 10 major districts of Sindh — including national highways and the Super Highway — will be closed. In Karachi, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Shahrah-e-Pakistan, Nagan to UP More, Power House, Defence View, Shahrah-e-Orangi and Sohrab Goth will also be shut down.

Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan is holding the nationwide protest against levies and other taxes on petroleum products.

According to a party statement, roads will be blocked at 510 locations across 170 districts.

In Lahore, sit-ins will be held at Qartaba Chowk and Mazang Chungi. In Karachi, the sit-in will take place on Shahrah-e-Faisal, while in Islamabad it will be held at Chungi No. 26.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman will address the Lahore sit-in in person, while a video address from him will be broadcast at sit-ins across the rest of the country.
