A new report claims that the character’s story is coming to an end, leaving many viewers wondering why he is leaving the long running soap.
According to Soap Opera Network, Chris McKenna is reportedly leaving the show and Jack Brennan is going to be killed.
The report has not been confirmed by ABC but it already sparked massive discussion among fans on the internet.
McKenna got the role in February 2025 after Charles Mesure left the series. Even though the casting changing surprised viewers, McKenna quickly became part of one of show’s biggest storylines.
At first, things looked really promising for the couple but everything changed after Carly found out Brennan secretly brought her daughter Josslyn into the WSB.
Their relationship, moreover, then fell apart and Brennan found himself facing one problem after another.
He survived a serious health scare, escaped an attempt on his life and then started a surprise romance with Nina Reeves.
