Zayn Malik breaks his social media hiatus on an important occasion.
The former One Direction star and his solo fanbase are celebrating more than a decade of Zquad, the official name he gave to his fandom back in early August 2015.
Sunday, August 2, 2026, marked 11 years since the Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker first named and established his dedicated fan community.
Taking to his official Instagram account, Zayn, 33, posted a new selfie with a sweet and brief caption that read, “11 years… Love you all!”
The image appears to be a casual indoor selfie taken in daylight. The Die For Me singer faced the camera directly with a slightly pursed lips.
Wearing a black Chicago Bulls basketball jersey with red and white trim, he sported short, closely cropped dark hair with a clean fade on the sides and a neatly trimmed beard and mustache.
While his arms, shoulders, and neck are heavily tattooed, a colourful hoop earring is visible in one ear.
Moreover, he reposted Inzayn’s post on his own social media. The management team captioned the post, writing, “this week marks 11 years of zquad [red heart emoji] we’ll be celebrating YoU all week!”
Set to Zayn’s own song iT’s YoU, the carousel featured several fan group’s photos.
Notably, the eighth slide of the montage featured a bunch of female fans holding and showing off a Pakistani flag.
