As a well-placed source quoted Rob Shutter, the real pain is not seeing “Pitt” disappear from official documents–it’s the growing distance between the once-close family.
Sources shared that the actor has spent years reflecting on the fallout from his split with Angelina Jolie, and they say his journey to sobriety changed the way he sees the past.
“Brad understands why the children feel the way they do,” one source noted. “He doesn’t put all the blame on Angelina. He knows he made mistakes too.”
Friends say Pitt no longer sees the situation in black and white.
“Getting sober meant taking responsibility,” the source explained. “Brad has never claimed to be perfect. He’s accepted his share of what happened.”
