Miley Cyrus seems to be planning a big surprise for fans as she is rumoured to be releasing a new album in 2026.
The 33-year-old musician has reportedly decided to take a different direction for the upcoming album in terms of sound as well as her team. She changed her management team following the release of her recent album, Something Beautiful.
As for the genre, the record is expected to be leaning towards a progressive pop sound with electronic influences, with the announcement expected in the coming weeks.
The exciting news caught fire on social media as fans began celebrating, writing, “Can’t believe she’s coming with a new album when she literally dropped her magnum opus last year,” referring to Something Beautiful.
Another added, “She deserves to have a big era! Something beautiful deserved better too tbh” and “If she drops a 2026 album, I’ll start the countdown now and make sure my playlist has room for another Party in the Future,” chimed in one.
